Regional Outcome Agreement
Regional Outcome Agreements were introduced by the Scottish Funding Council in academic year 2012/13 as the primary means for SFC and colleges to work together to demonstrate the impact of the sector and its contribution to Scottish Government priorities.
The current Scottish Government’s post-16 education reform priorities are to improve life chances, to support jobs and growth and to ensure sustainable post-16 education.
The Regional Outcome Agreement seeks to show how Glasgow colleges will:
- contribute to delivering these priorities;
- work together to contribute to reducing unemployment;
- ensure cohesive and coherent provision which meets national, regional and local learner and employer needs; and
- deliver this in an efficient way
